Events for all the family at Reaseheath
If you are looking for a fun-filled day out for all the family to enjoy in 2024, Reaseheath has got you covered. Join us for a unique springtime experience seeing lambs being born at one of our Lambing Weekends in early March or enjoy a jam-packed day of a wide variety of hands-on activities spanning our entire campus at our popular Family Festival on Sunday 12 May 2024.
Tickets for both events will be available to purchase soon, so please follow our social media channels and keep an eye on our website for more information about when tickets are being released.
Will we see you at LAMMA?
On 17 and 18 January 2024, we will be attending The UK’s Premier Agricultural Machinery and Technology Show, LAMMA, at the NEC in Birmingham.
Come and chat to us about our Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering courses or speak to our HR team about some of the great vacancies we currently have at Reaseheath.
Throughout the year, we will also have stands at a number of local shows including Cheshire Show and Nantwich Show, so you can always visit us there too!
Apprenticeship Awards Evening
Another exciting event in our calendar for next year is our annual Apprentice of the Year awards, which we are holding on campus on Thursday 8 February 2024 during National Apprenticeship Week.
The evening is a great opportunity to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices and their employers. If you will be attending, we very much look forward to seeing you there, or you can catch up with what happens on the night by following our social media channels.

Exciting developments at Reaseheath College
Additional T Level qualifications being offered in 2024
Over the last couple of years, we have been introducing new T Level qualifications at Reaseheath College across several subject areas, including Construction, Business, Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Food Science, and Forestry and Arboriculture. Next year in 2024, we will be introducing T Levels in Animal Management and Science and Animal Management and Behaviour within our Animal Management department, which will equip students with the technical expertise and essential work experience needed to succeed in the industry.
If you are interested in a career within the Animal Management sector and you are considering where to study in September 2024, these T Levels could be the perfect choice for you. The T Level in Animal Management and Science will prepare you for employment in roles such as an animal nutritionist, animal physiotherapist, veterinary nurse or zoologist, while the T Level in Animal Management and Behaviour is better suited for anyone considering a career as an animal conservationist or animal behaviourist.
You can find out more about both T Level courses at: Animal Management courses at Reaseheath College
New facilities and equipment coming to Reaseheath
We are constantly investing in our facilities and equipment on campus and will continue to do so into next year. Recent developments on campus include the new study spaces we have created for our students and the installation of our immersive classroom.
We are also currently procuring a large amount of specialist technology to support our Institute of Technology (IoT) and our T Level courses, to meet the needs of the current qualifications while also stretching innovation and precision technologies to meet future skills requirements.
Immediate upcoming plans for this funding includes the IoT building works on our college farm, including the secure storage and roof area across our machinery equipment, the new IoT Agriculture classrooms, laboratory and farm entrance, as well as the installation of the new Lely Vector Robot feeding system.
Further developments elsewhere on campus include the new Pigmy Marmoset enclosures in Animal Management, progressing the overall vision for the centre and our on-site mini zoo, and plans to refurbish several of our classrooms and lecture theatres. Further updates can be found by following our social media channels.
Happy Christmas!
While we prepare for all the exciting things that will be happening here next year, for now we just want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope to see you in 2024!
