“I was responsible for the Ents with an amazing team. And I was responsible for raising money during our Lambing festival by being a Cow. Also fell over a pram doing that! Think I have done an alright job on both. Learnt a lot from both roles like look for prams!”
Jessy Griffith
“Being RAG Chair in 2019 was an amazing experience. From doing it I was able to find a new passion and with the help of my friends and the student life team we were able to raise money for an amazing charity but also change from a degree I wasn’t enjoying to event management where I am thriving, if it wasn’t for taking on RAG Chair my path would be very different.”
Chelsey Rowntree
“In that case, one of my responsibilities for the year has been the SA! Really lucky to have been Vice President to this President this year! We’ve had an ace group & amongst the other roles I’ve done I’ve met a huge group of lovely people that make me very proud to be a RH student”
Charlotte Brunt
“Being on the SA taught me a lot about responsibility, especially being the entertainments chair! I was dedicated and ran every social each Thursday and tried my best to ensure every one was happy and safe! Along side that, I also tried my best to help out my fellow team mates and help with RAG events as much as I could. Being in charge of running the entertainment isn’t easy and can be stressful however with the right attitude you can achieve anything ”

“Delivering 70+ ‘I can help’ leaflets recently to my neighbours and surrounding streets which lead to me creating a help group chat of neighbours – i then put out leaflets of activities on some days to keep the children entertained and to thank the NHS together ”

“Doing the Santa’s grotto for Make a Wish was SO much fun! We danced all day and raised some serious money! I’d share the videos of us dancing but no one needs to see that haha”

“Being President has taught me so much. It’s not an easy ride, it can be stressful, but I have loved every second of it. I’ve grown as a person and it’s really kept me going. It’s been a rough year both in general and for me personally but the SA have really helped me, they push me to be better. I’ve discovered I’m capable of so much more than I thought possible, and I wouldn’t be without such an incredible team alongside me. Charlotte Brunt has been a phenomenal vice, she has supported me as both friend and “colleague”. I love working alongside all the reaseheath staff and students and I’m missing you all immensely. It’s gonna take time, but we’re going to get there. Wherever “there” may be. We’ve got this, we are strong, and we are family through and through.”

“Taking on my first official “Presidential Duties” and speaking at the Presentation of Awards. I’ve never been so frightened, however to be able to cheer on my friends as they crossed the stage was such a good feeling!”
