Level 3 Technical Baccalaureate in Land and Wildlife Management 2020

Trainee Wildlife Ranger, Forestry England, Northamptonshire

“My job is incredibly diverse and involves a lot of conservation work. My primary role is to help manage fallow and muntjac deer populations but I’m also involved in conserving a huge range of other species such as red kites, dormice and bats. The way we manage our habitat affects them all.

“After I finished my Tech Bacc I continued to gain as much work experience as possible. These experiences, plus the skills, knowledge and support I’d gained from college, helped me to stand out when I applied for my current role.”
