Inspiring and Enthusiastic Functional Skills Tutor
Status: Part-time, 14.8 hours per week, 1-year temporary contract
Salary: £25,080 – £28,639 pro rota, per annum (L6-L9)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Functional Skills Tutor to join the Apprenticeship Department to deliver high quality teaching across the vocational areas in partnership with University of Chester.
We would love to hear how you could help support us in promoting the importance of English and Math’s across apprenticeships and raising the standard of English and Math’s delivery. The majority of the apprentices you will teach are part of the University of Chester partnership so the ability to inspire and motivate is key while the apprentices have demanding working patterns to cope with. You will be required to teach online and be able to offer flexibility around the commitments of the apprentices; there will be evening sessions required. The LIVE assessments will be offered over a range of campus around Chester and Nantwich so a willingness to travel, if needed.
