Backed by a £290 million Government investment, IoTs are revolutionising technical education, offering top-quality training for coveted careers in diverse sectors, from agritech to aerospace, construction to cybersecurity.
Cheshire and Warrington Institute of Technology (IoT)
Launching this year, the Cheshire and Warrington IoT is set to transform the educational landscape with over £15m of Government funding. This investment will facilitate the delivery of higher technical qualifications (Levels 4 and 5) across a range of areas including agri-technology, precision agriculture, rural innovation, sustainable land management, food security, and animal science.
Shaping the future of agriculture
Reaseheath College is proud to be a part of the Cheshire and Warrington IoT. This partnership enables us to provide students with the higher-level technical skills and training essential for success in the dynamic agricultural sector, ensuring that they are industry focused and career ready. We have £1.4 million investment coming into a new build, opening later this year, which will bring further automation and precision farming technology into the farm. Additionally there will be £1.9 investment into equipment across agri-technology, food science and animal science.
