Ambition: Own cake business
“My school careers advisor suggested I enrol at Reaseheath as it’s one of the few colleges in the area to offer courses in bakery, and it’s got a very good reputation. My mum has her own cake business so she knows a lot about the profession and she was really impressed with the facilities and lecturers when we visited.
“I’ve really enjoyed my course and I’m looking forward to learning more on my Level 3 Diploma. I’ve made lots of friends and the lecturers make our practical sessions fun.
“I’d also consider doing a Foundation Degree in Bakery and Patisserie Technology at University Centre Reaseheath to further my knowledge and gain more business and marketing skills. I’ll need those when setting up my own business.”
