Set within 21 acres of farm, woodland, and formal gardens, our beautiful Cheshire countryside campus is equipped with state-of-the-art resources that support a wide range of academic and practical disciplines.

Here are some of our most recent developments:

  • Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre: £8 million facility with GPS and robotic systems, and advanced machinery such as John Deere and New Holland tractors, Claas mowers, and Amazone sprayers. It features the Lely Vector Smart Feeding System and an arable data centre for sustainable research.
  • Sports Science and Performance Academy: £6 million facility with a multi-purpose sports hall, fitness studio, testing centre, gym, floodlit 3G pitch, performance analysis suite, strength and conditioning room, and a health and wellbeing hub.
  • National Centre for Horticulture, the Environment and Sustainable Technology (HEST): £8.3 million facility with Priva automated glasshouses and a vertical farming research centre with growing chambers and a micro-scale testing lab.
  • Reaseheath Food Centre: £7 million facility for dairy processing, butchery, bakery, cake design, and confectionery. The centre is used by local, national, and international manufacturers for product development, technical advice, and staff training.
  • Reaseheath Equestrian Centre: BHS-approved facility with indoor and outdoor arenas, stabling for 60 horses, and a Riding Simulator. Features training mirrors, a judge’s box, gallery seating, showjumping and dressage setups, and an RDA facility.
  • Animal Centre: Our licensed zoo houses over 1,000 animals across 125 species. It includes a Reptile House, Aquatics Centre, and Zoological Training Facility, with recent additions such as pygmy goats and pygmy marmosets, and ongoing upgrades like a developing rainforest room and updated aviary.
  • Veterinary Nursing Centre: Professional practice environment equipped with a dispensary, radiography suite, laboratory, anaesthetic areas, OSCE examination room, clinical skills suites, dedicated classroom, consultation rooms, treatment areas, and recovery facilities.
