With the UCAS deadline fast approaching on 29th January, University Centre Reaseheath is encouraging prospective students to explore their options for higher education.
The Nantwich-based institution, renowned for its expertise in land-based education, is hosting its first Open Day of 2025 on Saturday, January 18th.
University Centre Reaseheath offers specialist degrees and professional certificates for careers in agriculture, canine behaviour, veterinary nursing, environmental conservation, food science, zoology and much more. This next Open Event is a chance for prospective students and their families to experience life at the university centre first-hand. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet expert lecturers, learn about the courses on offer and take a tour of the leading-edge facilities, including the robotic dairy farm, Reaseheath Mini Zoo and a new state-of-the-art agri-food facility.
They’ll also get to hear from current students about what it’s like to study and live at Reaseheath where the rural campus combines the tranquillity of the countryside with modern, purpose-built facilities.
After the Open Event – which also sees Reaseheath College showcasing its Foundation, Diploma and T Level courses – visitors are encouraged to explore the nearby market town of Nantwich, with its independent shops, cosy cafes, and historic charm.
While the January 29th UCAS deadline is important for securing equal consideration for courses, applications remain open beyond this date, allowing students to still apply for a place at university this autumn.
Jane Nickisson, Dean of Higher Education and Assistant Principal, said: “Our Open Events are a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to see first-hand the unique blend of tradition and innovation that University Centre Reaseheath offers.
“We are proud of our state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated staff who are committed to helping students achieve their career aspirations. Whether you’re interested in our specialist degrees or professional certificates, we invite you to explore all that we have to offer and discover how we can help you shape your future.”
For those unable to attend on January 18th Reaseheath has several other Open Events taking place on February 8th, April 26th, June 14th. These events offer another opportunity to see what makes Reaseheath College and University Centre a top choice for students across the UK.
