Reaseheath College agricultural students proved they have outstanding all-round industry skills by taking the top awards at the Next Generation Shepherds competition, run by the Central Region of the National Sheep Association (NSA).
Nicholas Beuken and Michel Bartlam have been crowned the Maths and English department’s stars of the term. Both Nicholas and Michael were nominated for demonstrating excellent effort in English and maintaining 100% attendance.
Reaseheath has marked the opening of its new, professional level sports facilities to the public with a rugby tournament for local secondary schools.
Pupils from Sandbach High School, Ruskin Community High School, Crewe and Malbank School, Nantwich, took on the touch rugby challenge, which was judged by former English international rugby union player Mark Cueto MBE and supported by Reaseheath sports students.
Reaseheath College students and staff have been helping to spread the festive spirit by filling shoeboxes with gifts and treats for Operation Christmas Child.
