Where can I find my student ID number?
This can be found on the letter that we sent out either via post or email inviting you in for an interview, or on your offer letter.
How do I update my contact details?
You can email enquiries@reaseheath.ac.uk with your full name, date of birth and the first line of your address, along with the changes that you wish to make, and we can do it for you.
I have changed my address/email address since I applied, what should I do?
Please send an email to enquiries@reaseheath.ac.uk and include your name, student reference number and your new address/email address.
How do I change the course I applied for to a different area?
As the change is within a different subject area you will need to put a new application in and be interviewed again. If you are successful in securing a place on the new course, you will then need to withdraw your place on the course you originally applied for.
If I have been accepted for a level 2 course but I get the results for the level 3 course, will I be able to transfer onto that?
Following GCSE results day all students will be invited to college to meet their course manager. This will be your opportunity to discuss this and a transfer will be arranged if appropriate.
What will happen if I do not get the grades I was predicted?
Please do not worry about your grades. Following your GCSE results you will be able to discuss this with the course manager and a transfer will be arranged to the course level appropriate to your actual GCSE grades.

How do I order college uniform?
You can order uniform from our online store here.
I am no longer going to attend the college, please could you remove me from the course?
Please send an email to enquiries@reaseheath.ac.uk with your name, student reference number and reason for withdrawing.
When will we find out our timetables?
Once you’ve received your GCSE results, you will be invited to college to meet your course manager. (If you have already received your results from a previous year, this will still apply to you.) They will then confirm your first day and induction week. You will be issued with your full timetable during your first week of college.
Will there be any open days or transition days available before September?
You will be invited into college to meet with your Course Manager once you’ve received your GCSE results. This will provide another opportunity for you to discuss your course and ask any questions about starting in September. You will find out when your first day will be and receive your timetable for induction week. You will be issued with your full timetable during your first week of college.
Depending on your chosen course, you may receive an invitation to a specific transition day. You will be notified of these via email.
I would like my name to appear differently on my class register and my ID badge, how can I do this?
We need to have your official names on our applications system for audit purposes.
If you wish to be known as a different name than your birth name, you will need to inform us and complete the ‘known as’ box on your enrolment. We can then have your known as name printed on your ID and bus pass badge and it will also appear on class lists.
Birth names can only be changed with an official deed poll document. Gender can only be changed with documentation following a change of sex.
Transport
How can I apply for transport?
We offer our students highly subsidised rates on all of our 23 bus routes which run across Cheshire and surrounding areas, which make getting to Reaseheath easy and affordable. To find more information on your nearest pick up point, prices and to apply, please visit our getting to Reaseheath page.
Is there parking for my car?
Yes, every accommodation block has designated parking for residents. If you are a non-residential student, you will also be able to park on campus if you choose to drive in.
When will I get my bus pass?
Your bus pass is included on your student ID card which you will receive during your first week of college. Until you receive you student ID card you will need to show the bus driver your payment receipt from your transport application (this can be a print off or an electronic copy).

When do I need to apply for college transport?
Transport applications are now open and we recommend you apply for your college transport early to avoid any disruption. For any applications received in August we can’t guarantee that you will receive your bus pass during your first week of college.
Accommodation
What types of accommodation do you offer?
Our accommodation ranges from townhouses to more traditional halls of residence. Whether you opt for shared bathroom facilities or your own en-suite, you will have your own room with a work-station, WiFi and 24-hour support from our Safeguarding team. What are the kitchen facilities like in your halls of residence?
In under 18 accommodation there is a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and ironing board along with storage facilities.

On the Reaseheath campus
Where is Reaseheath located?
Reaseheath is located in the rural market town of Nantwich, which has a keen sense of community spirit and offers everything you need to make your college experience unforgettable. The bright lights of Chester, Manchester and Liverpool are also in easy reach, meaning our campus offers you the best of both worlds.

What types of food are offered on-site?
The catering team at Reaseheath offers a wide range of food options across the site for our students, staff and visitors. We offer breakfast, lunch and evening meals along with snacks throughout the day. The catering team can accommodate a variety of diets and food allergies so if you have specific needs please speak to a member of the team and they will be pleased to assist.
What facilities do you have for learning?
In recent years, over £100 million has been invested into on-campus facilities including an equestrian centre, an industry leading food centre, new sports facilities, 200 bed student accommodation, agric-technology centre and a scientific horticultural facility, unique to the UK. How do I pay for things on campus?
We are a cashless college. We use a system called iPay which enables you to load money onto your student ID card. Click here to view instructions on how to top-up an account. Or you can pay via contactless debit/credit cards.
Student Life
What societies do you have?
We have a large number of busy student-led clubs and societies on campus, from crafts to conservation, photography to acapella, and even a Harry Potter society, but we are always looking for more! What sports do you offer?
We offer recreational sports throughout the year, which range from climbing and badminton to yoga and Clubbercise. We have a state-of-the-art gym with Technogym equipment, Olympic lifting platform and a weights area for you to use for a small charge. Please go to our Sports for Students page to find out more.
What supermarkets and things to do are there in Nantwich?
There is a Sainsburys, Morrisons and Aldi all close by. There are plenty of places to socialise in Nantwich, including independent coffee shops and artisan restaurants, as well as events such as the annual Jazz and Blues Festival and the Nantwich Food and Drink Festival.
How do I join the SU?
The SU committee is open for all to join with most committee roles opening at the beginning of the academic year. We really encourage students to get involved and share their ideas. Can I still buy food from the canteen, even though I am not on a catered plan?
Yes, you can upload money on your student card through student finance or pay on credit/debit card at the canteen.
Are there washing facilities available onsite?
Yes, there are washing facilities around campus to wash your clothes (cash charges do apply).
What entertainment is there at the college in the evening?
We have both daytime and evening activities on for all students, such as sport clubs, societies and we also have an onsite bar that provide different events each evening.
How much is the gym on site?
All costs for the gym are on our online store. There are different plans depending how long you want your membership for.

I don’t have the money to pay for the transport/accommodation/equipment what can I do?
Bursary applications are now live for 2024/25 students. You will be able to apply through the fees and funding page. Applications are based on household income. Evidence required to assess a bursary application includes P60, benefit award letters and tax credit statements. Bursaries are paid in kind to support students with the essential cost of study. This can include help towards the cost of; essential equipment, college bus pass, travel for work experience, residential costs (land-based students not within daily travelling distance only) and free college meals (conditions apply).
You can still apply for transport and in the notes box when it asks for payment type in “bursary”. If you have any queries regarding the finance forms please email studentfinance@reaseheath.ac.uk. If you have applied for help towards the cost of a bus pass and haven’t heard from us yet, you can continue to use the bus whilst we assess your application.
How much are my tuition fees?
Bursary applications are now open for 24/25 apply now from our financial support page. If you are aged 19 or over then please visit our fees and funding page which contains a list of the courses we offer and the cost associated.
How do I pay for my tuition?

Are there loans available I can apply for?
If you are aged 19 or over and studying further education, then you may be eligible for an advanced learner loan to cover the cost of tuition fees. There are no maintenance loans available for Further Education students.
I‘ve applied for a bursary but haven’t heard back.
Until full household evidence is provided, we cannot assess your bursary. If you are experiencing problems uploading your information to the form, please email copies to studentfinance@reaseheath.ac.uk along with your student ID number. We are currently experiencing a high volume of applications so please bear with us.
