Summer Ball 2019
Hello again! I had an amazing first year Reaseheath. We had a busy year full of wonderful activities and socials! As vice president of entertainments there was one last challenge for me to undertake and that was… our SUMMER BALL! Me and the rest of my wonderful society chose the theme of ‘Enchanted Forest’ and then started to plan decorations in teams. We announced the acts that we chose too which was a Beyonce tribute act, the Dixon Brothers and TINCHY STRYDER! We made all the decorations and were all really excited for the ball itself. Everyone got all dressed up and we arrived at the ball! We had a meal and listened to speeches before having our photographs taken. The night was incredible! Everyone had a great time on the rides, listening to the acts and dancing. Summer ball is not something anyone would like to miss as its a great opportunity to say thank you and goodbye to friends! To have been a part of organising this ball and decorations was an honour and I would love to help out next year and do it all again!

I am a 19-year-old from a place called Harpenden, Hertfordshire and I have chosen to study Zoo Management here at University Centre Reaseheath(despite being allergic to both dogs and cats!). here is always something to take part in such as bingo, dance classes, or even being hypnotised! The student association play a massive role in student life as they help provide the entertainment and sort out and run events for the students.

One of my top tips about choosing your halls of residence at Reaseheath would be to come to open days and see as much of the different halls as possible and find the one which most suits you! Make sure that you research them before you apply, and most importantly apply early as it’s a first come first served basis and they do fill up fast and you might not end up in the halls of residence which you really want!The Student Association, societies and jobs on campus
The Student Association (SA) works alongside Student Services to organise a range of exciting eventsand is run completely by a group of student volunteers. The SA is made up of current HE and FE students from different courses.
