Career Development Pathway (CDP)
This qualification is for people aged 16-24 who want to explore and understand the world of work before they start employment.
The programme adopts a person centred approach to learning and will support you to develop the skills you need to achieve your goals.
This study programme is for students who feel they need support to build their confidence to move into the world of employment, but do not yet have the skills to get and keep paid work, or to successfully complete a Supported Internship, this may be due to lack of employability knowledge and skills.
If you want to develop your personal, social and employability skills after leaving school and feel you can commit to a high level of work experience, there’s nowhere better than Reaseheath to support you.
The course is 4 days per week and you will gain extensive work experience in a range of areas.

- You will undertake work experience up to 250 hours

What qualifications will I gain?
- City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills or City & Guilds Level 2 Extended Award in Employability Skills
- (enrolment on either course is dependent upon prior experience and qualifications)
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
Options after this programme
- Level 2 Diploma in your subject or a related area
- Level 2 Apprenticeship in your subject or a related area, or
- Go straight into paid employment
- Go into supported employment
- Voluntary work
