Campus Investment
What’s new at Reaseheath College?
We are continually investing in our campus and facilities to provide our students with the best possible learning experience. Some of our latest developments this year include:
- Welcoming new pygmy goats and pygmy marmosets to our on-site mini zoo – additionally we are developing a rainforest room for our pygmy marmosets and other species, as well as updating and improving our aviary block
- Developments on our commercial farm, Agri-Technology Centre, and Food Innovation Centre to integrate further state-of-the-art technologies, machinery and equipment, including GPS and robotic systems for data collection and research
- New study zone in the Lord Woolley Centre for students to work or socialise in
- Main restaurant refurbishment to create a more modern, spacious area for our students to eat and spend time with friends
- New immersive classroom where students across all departments can learn through virtual reality
- New Veterinary Nursing Centre which looks exactly like a real veterinary practice. We have a purpose built OSCE examination room, laboratory, diagnostic imaging suite and two clinical skills suites to teach practical sessions, as well as a dedicated Veterinary Nursing classroom
- Engineering simulator room which will provide an unparalleled immersive experience for our students, simulating real-world farming scenarios. The bespoke simulator room will facilitate hands-on learning experiences for our students in a controlled environment
