Foundation studies lecturers have donated hundreds of items to Nantwich Foodbank.
The thoughtful staff have been putting aside one item a day since 6 March to donate to members of the community in need. The idea began when the lecturers decided to give up one item of food a day for Lent.
They have given a variety of items including tins of vegetables, pasta, long life milk, fruit juice, coffee, toothpaste, deodorant and many other much needed items.
Nantwich Foodbank give food parcels to those who are struggling to put food on the table, either for themselves or for the whole family. All food parcels contain nutritionally balanced, non-perishable foods to last for three days.
Visit the Nantwich Foodbank website for more information and to read about how these donations help people in the community.
