Undergraduates and Further Education students have attended Reaseheath’s first ever Student Conference, enhancing their personal development and sharing their views with college leaders.
The students were given tips by external speakers, including The Self Esteem Team and SUMO, on how to achieve a work-life balance and how to increase their self-esteem through a series of workshops.
They were also introduced to effective ways to deal with difficult situations that may arise in their lives and the importance of maintaining good mental health.
Former students also ran a session in which they shared their own experiences from studying at Reaseheath, and passed on advice about what they learnt along the way.
At the end of the day, students were given the opportunity to share their thoughts and ask questions to the college leaders, including Principal Marcus Clinton.
The day received a lot of positive feedback and our students are keen to repeat the event in the future.
