The workshop will be delivered by industry professionals, including the founding director of Food Science Fusion and the director and co founder of The Reel Fish Company. The sessions will cover:

Workshop 1 – Introduction to the Product Development Cycle – “Walking the Cycle”

Successful product development starts by following a proven process. This module is designed to walk you along the Product Development path and allow you to review and evaluate your own concept, increasing the chances of a successful launch. The team will share their recommendations and watch-outs as to how to ensure progress in product development against intended business goals and product concepts, whilst ensuring you meet regulatory obligations and create successful safe food products.

Workshop 2 – Introduction to Scale Up – “Volume for Vanity; Profit for Sanity”

Scaling up occurs at all stages of your product life cycle and enables business growth. Understanding what is required and the potential implications on product performance and business continuity is key to implementing the right foundation for successful growth. This module enables you to work through the required thinking to understand the impact of the steps required.

Workshop 3 – Getting Your Food Products on Store Shelves – “Growth”

Successful product development and scale up leads to growth: Volume, Turnover and Profit. This module is about taking it to the next level, exploring different sales channels, understanding increased technical requirements, whilst ensuring profit
