This popular course has been developed to help you kick start your career in the sport industry.
By studying and taking part in a variety of sports, you’ll learn to lead teams and explore the science of sport to help build your practical skills and technical knowledge.
A good proportion of teaching is delivered through practical elements such as Football, Volleyball and gym sessions.

How long will it take?
- 1 year, full-time
What qualifications do I need to start?
- Typically 4 GCSEs at grade 3, including a 2/3 combination in Maths and English.
- Level 1 Diploma with Maths and English at level 1
What qualifications will I gain?
- Level 2 Extended Certificate in Sport
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
