PC Stephanie Allinson, who studied at Reaseheath College, returned to campus to talk to our UCR Level 4 Canine Behaviour and Training students about her role as a Dog Handler. She said:

“Before becoming a Dog Handler for Cheshire Police, I studied Animal Care and Agriculture at Reaseheath College as a residential student, which were some of the best years of my life.

“My courses taught me so much about the industry and I made some great friends. After my studies, I joined the police force, first as a PCSO and then a Police Officer, and then progressed to my dream role as a Dog Handler which I absolutely love.

“My advice to anyone starting out in the industry is to work hard and keep believing in your dream as you can do anything that you put your mind to!”
