Transition to T Level (Level 2)
in Agriculture
This course provides you with an excellent foundation to start your career in agriculture. It’s ideal whether you come from a farming background or not.
You’ll be involved in the day-to-day practical work on farms, learning diverse farming practices. You’ll broaden your knowledge through work placements and farm experience weeks.
The course also includes lots of practical work on Reaseheath’s high welfare dairy and sheep units.

- 1 year, full-time
What qualifications do I need to start?
- Typically 4 GCSEs at grade 3, including a 2/3 combination in Maths and English.
- Level 1 Land-Based Diploma
- Practical farm experience
What qualifications will I gain?
- Level 2 Technical Certificate in Agriculture
- Additional training is provided in a number of disciplines
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
