What the freshers crew recommend
The kit list shows a range of things which are recommended by fellow students,
Under 18’s
Bedroom items:
- Bedding – mattress protector, duvet and cover, pillows and covers, bedsheets (single beds).
- Clothes (obviously) don’t take your whole wardrobe as you won’t need it all, but you may want to bring warm, smart, comfy, and going-out options, along with appropriate footwear.
- Hangers
Bathroom items:
- Towels
- Bathmat
- Toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shaving cream, shavers, moisturiser, skin care, make-up, feminine hygiene products)
Kitchen items:
- • Microwavable mug, glasses, a bowl and a plate
- Cutlery set
- Tea Towel
- Washing up liquid & sponge
Extra items:
- You College acceptance letter
- Accommodation information/ documents
- Student loan information, bank cards, bank details to log in/ security codes.
- Home Comforts (this includes, blankets, cushions anything else you want to bring to make your room feel like home).
- Mirror
- Laptop/Tablet
- Chargers
- Gaming consoles
- TV & HDMI cables
- Room Decorations (Plants, photos air fresheners) NO CANDLES OR INCENSE
- Shoe rack
- Pins (for use on pinboards only)
- Stationery
- Snacks/drinks (no alcohol)
Over 18’s

- Clothes (obviously) don’t take your whole wardrobe as you definitely wont need it all. But you may want to bring warm, smart, comfy, and going-out options along with appropriate footwear.

- Cleaning: toilet cleaner & scrubbers

- Cutlery
- Bowls, plates, mugs, cups, glasses
- Cooking equipment: oven gloves, tongs, spatula, wooden spoons, oven/ baking trays
- Cleaning: washing up liquid, scrubber/ sponge.

What about outfits?
Don’t forget one of the best parts of Reaseheath, the socials.
These include Schoolies night, Barn Dance, UV, Beach, Jungle and many more. The best part of these is the dressing up.
Social items:
Remember to bring your student ID / lanyard to socials (saves having to go back to your room to get it)
- Funky glasses
- Hats (bucket hats seem to be the way to go at socials)
- Glowsticks
- Costumes (home-made costumes for specific socials)
- Funky clothing (bright / neon colours)
