Led by experienced and highly qualified staff you’ll build self-reliance, leadership skills and the ability to inspire others while you experience a wide variety of outdoor sports at least once a week.
We have a variety of fantastic facilities for you to use on campus, from our own college lake to our high ropes course and indoor climbing wall, and we are also ideally located near some of the best outdoor environments the UK has to offer, including the Peak District and North Wales, which are great locations for you to enjoy a wide variety of adventure sports activities.

You’ll gain valuable work experience with our industry partners and get the chance to develop towards and achieve National Governing Body Awards from British Canoeing (Paddle UK), Mountain Training and more.
Our courses are industry focused so you’ll have access to specialist outdoor equipment such as mountain bikes, kayaks and canoes to prepare you with the knowledge and skills for work in the outdoor sector
Our first-class teaching facilities include an on-site climbing wall, a high ropes course, bushcraft area and altitude chamber.

At Reaseheath, our campus is situated between the Peak District National Park and North Wales which enables us to access some of the best venues the Midlands has to offer for outdoor activities teaching and learning, including; The Roaches, Windgather Rocks, Llandegla Forest, River Dee, Llantysilio and Berwyn mountains. Additionally, when the opportunity arises, we have good infrastructure for getting into Eryri and the Lake District National Parks.
