This is an introductory qualification that’s great for those who have a passion for the Forestry and Arboriculture industry and want to gain specialist skills working outdoors. The course is designed to offer you a broad base of knowledge and practical skills which you can use to progress onto a further course within our Land and Environment Academy.

- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
How long will it take?
- 1 year, full-time
What qualifications do I need to start?
- Typically 4 GCSEs at grade 3, including a 2/3 combination in Maths and English or
- Level 1 Land and Environmental Studies Diploma
What qualifications will I gain?
- Level 2 Technical Certificate in Forestry and Arboriculture
- Functional Skills or GCSE in English and Maths depending on previous qualifications
